Professor Dr., Director of the Institute of Technology and Management in Construction at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Germany Shervin is a University Professor at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) in Germany since 2013. His research areas are Project Management and Production Management in Construction, Lean Construction, Innovative Project Delivery Models, and Conflict Management. He also provides management consultancy services for organizations in the construction and real estate industry. From 2004 to 2013 he worked for the Bilfinger Group, among other positions he was managing director for the building segment of the group. From 1999 to 2004 he was assistant lecturer at the Technical University of Darmstadt. Education: PhD in 2004 from Technical University of Darmstadt in Construction Management, Masters Degree in 2004 in Business Administration from Fernuniversitaet Hagen, Masters Degree in 1999 in Civil Engineering from Technical University of Darmstadt. Shervin was Co-Founder of the German Lean Construction Institute (GLCI) in 2014 und is since then president of the GLCI.
